Supplier agreement for Quality

The Client intended to rent an adjacent unit as there was no space left on site for further expansion. We suggested a site wide 5S program which eventualy emptied 3 x 40' containers and most of the stores area, saving the client £24,000 per annum in extra rent and allowing further expansion on the exisiting site

The client was having to turn sales away due to under performing against costed hours on one of it's vehicle assembly lines. We undertook a full process review and identified a number of issues both production and supplier related. We worked with a small Kaizen team to prioritize based on a Pareto Analysis of data recorded. there were a number of work teams engaged and we bought all the agreed projects to a successful conclusion. The client improved productivity by 28%

The client had an ongoing quality issue, with a supplier part, which Production was remediating. A full specification and Quality standard was agreed with the supplier, which resulted in a reduction of Quality issues to almost zero. The saving in lost production time equated to almost £60,000 per annum
